Each of the homes of Hawthorn Park features elegant entertaining areas including a living room with fireplace, and a separate dining room. The model home is accented with coffered ceilings in both the living and dining room, and built-in bookcases separating the two rooms. These are standard features on some models and are available as optional upgrades in others. Several homes feature separate foyers or central hallways for welcoming guests.

All of the Hawthorn Park home plans include spacious kitchens with adjoining breakfast rooms. The model home shows optional cherry cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances.

You'll love retreating to your spacious master suite. Each home at Hawthorn Park has a spacious master bedroom with a walk-in closet and an adjoining master bath. Some master suites have additional closets. The layout of the master bathrooms varies depending on the floorplan selected. In the model home, the master bath features a tub with tiled surround and a large glass block window; a separate tiled shower; and a double vanity.

All of the Hawthorn Park floorplans include at least 3 bedrooms and at least 2 full bathrooms. The bedrooms are all finished with a high level of detail, with nice moldings, large windows, and ample closet space. In several plans, including the model home, the front bedroom opens off the living room or hallway through French doors. This bedroom makes a wonderful guest bedroom or an ideal home office.

The additional bathrooms are also nicely finished. In the model home, the second bathroom opens off the middle bedroom as well as the hallway. It features a tub/shower and vanity. Many floorplans also include a separate powder room for guests.

Several of the bungalow floorplans feature unfinished expandable attics. The attic in the model home has been finished to give you an idea of the living spaces you can create. In this home, stairs lead up to a landing. Off the landing there are two large bedrooms (or a huge master suite with sitting room) and an elegant bathroom. The bathroom includes a jetted tub, separate shower, double vanity, and walk-in closet.

The homes of Hawthorn Park are being built in a neo-Craftsman style that emulates the look of the historic 1920s and 1930s bungalows found throughout Kirkwood. Elegant moldings, coffered ceilings, multi-light windows, heavy door and window casings, built-in bookcases, decorative columns, and other elements give each of these homes great charm. The model home features a number of optional upgrades (including the pedimented door casings) that can be added to your home to customize it to suit your tastes.

Each of the homes at Hawthorn Park has a front porch and a back deck or patio. Deep front porches invite you to get to know your neighbors and participate in the every day life of the neighborhood, and the back deck or patio provides an ideal spot to relax and unwind after the stresses of modern life. Each home has a tidy lot that you can landscape as you choose to create your own private oasis. Many of the homes of Hawthorn Park will also have a 1 or 2 car, attached or detached garage. This is a standard feature on some models and optional on others. The Hawthorn Park development also features sidewalks and will include a one-third mile greenway walking trail.
